Cuba, located in the Caribbean, is exposed to hurricanes and other extreme winds, generating many economic losses. A good understanding of wind characteristics will allow for better management of wind actions, improve building designs, and reduce vulnerabilities of the community. The vision is to take advantage of the wind forces and energy from a multidisciplinary point of view and mitigate social and economic impact.
