Dear colleagues:
The Faculty of Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering of the Technological University of Havana
"José Antonio Echeverría", Cujae, convenes the XI International Congress of Telematics and
Telecommunications, CITTEL 2024, sponsored by the Ministry of Communications (MINCOM) of Cuba,
within the framework of the XXI Scientific Convention of Engineering and Architecture (CCIA 21), to be held
from November 25 to 29, 2024, at the Palace of Conventions in Havana, Cuba.
CITTEL is aimed at professionals, officials, scientists and students from the national and international
community interested in analyzing and proposing solutions to current problems related to telematics,
telecommunications and related disciplines. In this edition, under the slogan "Supporting the Digital Society",
works and projects will be discussed on the following topics:
• Emerging technologies, services in 4G/5G networks and future generations;
• Wireless communications and systems. Passive and active microwave devices;
• Telecommunications/ICT Management (management of network elements, networks, services and
business);
• Cybersecurity in telecommunications/ICT;
• Technical Standards and Norms for Telecommunications/IT;
• Green communication systems;
• Radar systems applications;
• Wireless sensor networks;
• Cloud and fog computing;
• Emerging telecommunications technologies: IoT, M2M, SDN, NFV, among others;
• Digital television;
• Digital signal processing and pattern recognition applied to telecommunications;
• Artificial Intelligence applications to telecommunications;
• New technologies in Computer Networks and Unconventional Communication Systems: Big Data,
Blockchain, Molecular Communications, Digital Twins, among others;
• Development of telecommunications services;
• Education in telecommunications and telematics.
The event program includes keynote lectures, round tables, panels, and paper presentations. In addition,
proposals for invited sessions will be accepted if there are five or more participants. All relevant papers will be
published in scientific journals.
Important dates:
• Paper submissions: until August 30, 2024
• Acceptance notification: until September 15, 2024
• Camera-Ready: until September 25, 2024

submitted after September 15 will be also reviewed, but the Organizing Committee is not committed to their
inclusion in the proceedings.
